to live with it. Since the rich have so much money and power it has gone to their heads. These big names in politics are all jerks and only care about helping themselves grow as an individual. It is obvious we live in a stratified society and the biggest concern for most is the socioeconomic status. But if the rich would stop being so arrogant and use their money in a way that could help everyone it would decrease income inequality, give the rich a little less of a head start and the poor a little more. The rich have so much money even the president has gone to them asking for money. If this doesn’t make a person feel powerful then nothing would. These people literally get a say in laws and bills they do and do not want passed. But they are only this rich because America has let this happen.

Income inequality does not simply have one solution because there are simply many problems with it. As of today is seems as though the rich are only getting more of a head start as the poor fall behind even more. But if the poor could have the will power like they had back in the day maybe changes could start happening. Or we will all get lucky have that one rich person who was once poor can begin to decrease income inequality. But for now all we can do is never be satisfied with were we are at and keeping reaching for higher goals, to always climb upward in social mobility. Then maybe one day the poor and the rich will start at the same starting line.

Ontological equality, everyone is created equal in God’s eyes… but we do not all get an equal start in life.
