"Non-whites who reside in America should be expected to conduct themselves according to Christian principles and must recognize that race mixing is definitely wrong and out of the question. It will be a privilege to live under the authority of a compassionate White Christian government." — The Knights Party website (The Ku Klux Klan, 2015).

"The Mexican birthrate in this country is five times that of white people. The black birthrate is four times larger. America will become a Third World nation if these trends continue. Unless we slow down and cut off immigration by beefing up border control and encourage welfare recipients to have fewer kids, the white population in America will be swamped." — David Duke in the run-up to the KKKK's 1977 "Border Patrol" operation (The Ku Klux Klan, 2015).

“Are you prepared to FIGHT AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION? The time for ACTION is NOW! Our Government won’t stop them so we will. It’s time to declare war on these illegal Mexicans. The racial war is among us. Our blissful ignorance is over. It is time to fight.” — Brotherhood of Klans website (The Ku Klux Klan, 2015).

“The KKK wants you. Join today and win back your rights that have been given to others in the name of political correctness. We are fighting to preserve the existence of our race and a future for White children.” — Brotherhood of Klans recruiting flier, undated (The Ku Klux Klan, 2015).

By using religion to justify any bias or prejudices, it is easy to see how people could be sucked in to the Klan mentality, especially where education may be limited or in areas where such prejudices are the norm and are not looked upon in a negative light.

Today, Klan activity falls under the FBI’s definition of Hate Crime which is a sub-heading under their definition of Domestic Terrorism. By classifying Klan activity in such a manner, it allows the FBI to staff a team who devotes all of their time and energy to finding and suppressing any terrorist activity that may arise in the United States through Klan or any other terrorist activity (Federal Bureau of Investigations, 2013). That being said, the KKK still remains an active force throughout the United States, especially in the South, and Canada. The KKK is not as secretive as it used to be when it comes to certain subjects such as immigration, but they are still much closed mouthed about what plans and actions they plan to take to uphold their tilted views on America and those who have the right to live here.
