all of them, before grabbing the sandwich bag full of ornament hooks and an ornament. You open the baggie and take a hook out, looping it to the top of the ornament before hanging the ornament on the tree. "You always do red and gold," Ross mumbles behind you as he grabs an ornament himself. "Well, somebody wouldn’t go to the store with me and buy new decorations, nor help me decide on two new colors, so we’re left with the theme of red and gold, again," you say, causing him to roll his eyes. You both continue to hang the ornaments, until the boxes are all empty. "We’re missing something..." He trails off, tilting his head to the side as he stares at the tree. "The bow!" You suddenly exclaim, grabbing the red and gold bow from the coffee table. "Here, get on my shoulders," he says, squatting down. You climb onto his shoulders and he grabs your thighs to keep you balanced as he stands back up. He steps over to the tree and you begin adjusting the bow on the top, just as his phone dings. He removes his hands from you and pulls it from his joggers, checking the message. "What d’you think,Ross?" You question once you’re done adjusting the bow. He looks up at the bow and takes a step back, allowing both of you to examine it. "It looks great, cakes," he tells you, slipping his phone back in his pocket before helping you off his shoulders. "Alright, I’ll take these boxes back to the basement, you finish up the little decorations," you tell him, motioning towards the rest of the decorations on the couch, before grabbing the empty boxes and exiting the living room. When you come back, Ross stops you in the doorway, a wide grin on his face. You furrow your eyebrows and give him a questioning look, to which he answers with an upward nod. You avert your gaze from his face to the top of the doorway, letting out a laugh and rolling your eyes as they land on a mistletoe. You look back down at Ross, and he playfully puckers his lips, causing you to laugh and smack his arm, before leaning up and pecking his lips. When you pull back, he pouts, obviously having wanted more than just a peck. You roll your eyes, but still lean back up and give him a real kiss. When you go to pull away, his wraps his arms around your waist, holding you in place, which causes you to laugh into the kiss. He finally releases you, his smile stretching from ear-to-ear. "I love you," he says, moving his arms from your waist to your shoulders. "And I love you," you smile, leaning back up and kissing him once more.
