Waiting the dawn

On February 2, 2014, ten friends, Sam (Hayden Panettiere), Josh (Rummy Malek) and its twin sisters, Hannah and Beth (Ella Lentini), Ashley (Galadriel Stineman), Chris (Noah Fleiss), Mike (Brett Dalton), Jessica (Meaghan Martin), Emily (Nichole Bloom) and Matt (Jordan Fisher) are assembled in the country-house of Blackwood Pines in the Mount Washington for its annual winter escape. During the celebrations, some of the friends (Less Sam, Josh, Chris and Beth) decide to spend a prank to Hannah, who romantically interests in Mike. Humiliated, Hannah goes out running of the hut, and penetrates in the covered with snow forest. Beth, its sister, goes out in search of her while the rest remains in the hut. Beth locates Hannah crying in a small skylight and consoles it. Suddenly, they hear a violent noise and run of a harassing invisible one. When they are cornered in the rim of a cliff, Hannah one slips and it falls down, holding of Beth. Until a stranger appears in the cliff and offers its hand to Beth, here she has the option of or to drop Hannah, or to come undone of the cliff, giving consequence to which both Hannah and Beth fall down to its apparent deaths, to never be seen again.

In the first anniversary of the disappearance of Hannah and Beth Washington, eight remaining friends accept Josh's invitation back to Blackwood Pines and do its way to the place. As the group meets in the hut the things between they have changed, the relations between some have deteriorated, therefore the personages separate to take part of its holidays, its seemingly idyllic escape quickly begins to give a sinister draft in more than one sense. Mike and Jessica go to a guests' hut to spend a time to alone, but Jessica is kidnapped by an unknown creature. Mike chases them in an attempt of saving it. Depending on its decisions during the pursuit, he or it finds her dead or unconscious just before she disappears when the elevator in which she is falls down for a hollow. Mike then follows a stranger, who is close to there, suspecting that the secuestró to Jessica, up to a godforsaken psychiatric hospital, which explores and in the one that discovers information about a mining accident in 1952, that it gave place that had left a few miners caught after a destruction; one was captured and tortured by doctors of the sanatorium, while a reporter tried to quarrel more on the concealment that it continued.

Chris and Ashley investigate the track that the spirit communicated, but they are noqueados for a masked psychopath, and Ashley is kidnapped. Chris traces it and finds Ashley and Josh in the mortal end of a pitfall of Jigsaw, and must choose between saving to one of them. Independently of whom does Chris choose, the saw goes and kills Josh on having crushed its body for the half. After finding out about the psychopath across Chris, Matt and Emily locate a radio tower and call the foresters of the mountain in search of help, who inform them that the help will not come up to the dawn as soon as possible, since they are average of a thunderstorm. A creature known then provokes that the tower collapses on having cut one of its cables. In the chaos that continues, Emily and Matt are separated when In cae to the mines. Matt can be attacked by an unknown creature, but it escapes if a flares gun uses that Emily could have given him in the tower. Meanwhile, Sam, who has been taking a bath, is watched by the psychopath, it chased by the whole hut, and possibly captured or with luck to escape.

Ashley and Chris look for Sam in the cellar and attend multiple supernatural events. They might find one unconscious Sam or a doll using its clothes before the psychopath the noquee to the two. Both wake up tied to a few chairs while it saws one slowly it descends from the roof and Chris is forced to go off with a weapon or to shoot Ashley, with a proviso that one of them lives. Mike possibly finds Sam and liberates it; the two find Chris and Ashley alive since the weapon was full of volleys. The psychopath appears and reveals to him like one mentally unstable Josh, who had been playing a dirty prank to them all the time. Also it reveals that it had feigned all the supernatural events, together with its own death. Nevertheless, he denies to have attacked Jessica. Mike the noquea and along with Chris they it leave bundle in the same place where it feigned its death. Meanwhile, in the godforsaken mines, Emily finds
