Katie asked, “How long do we have to stay in this smelly old place?”

“Until the all clear goes.” answered James

“What is the all clear and what's going on?” said Andrew

“We are in the middle of a war - where have you been for the last 2 years?”

“We have been...” they all got nervous and had no idea what to say.

“Well, wait a second - you must be spies! Dad, Dad run and get the police they’re spies.”

“No we are not spies, just listen please.” Andrew said worriedly

“Dad quick - there must be a way to call for help in this stupid old Anderson shelter.”

The three of them ran away having no idea that bombs were getting dropped all over the place. They ran as fast as they could, back to the little dead end to see if the door was there. It was but it was orange and violet. They opened it and ran through and tried to make it back to school hoping they’d be in time, but there was no one there. So they said bye to Josh and went home and found they had missed the whole last day of school.

Andrew shouted as loud as he could “It is the summer holiday!!” when he suddenly remembered that his second name was Dakens, his granddad lived here when he was younger, he always talked about meeting some young German spies that he became good friends with and that his Granddad’s name was James. “Katie guess what James is our Granddad!”
