MAZE RUNNER

This is a story about a boy called Thomas, when he woke up, he was inside of a motion elevator, he didn’t remember who he was and much less where he went. When the elevator stopped and the doors opened, he was surrounded by a group of young people by about 14 to 18 years who saw him carefully and strangely.

A boy called Alby was presented, and explained him about where he was, Alby said that they were in a zone called The Area, at the center of a maze, fenced by walls; every 30 days, a new member arrives with food, medicines, clothes, and more. No one knows why they are there and how to get away, but what they knew was that the doors of The Area opened every morning and closed every night, and in the night, strange criatures called griever and events happened behind these doors.

Something really strange happened one day later, the doors of the elevator were opened and a girl was there, the only girl who had come, she shouted that she was the last one and collapsed. Thomas had the strange feeling that he already knew her.

The habitants roamed in the day the maze by a group of boys called runners, trying to find the exit, unsuccsessfully until now. The leader of this group was called Minho. After a night that Alby, and him got caught behind the doors with Thomas and survived the night, Thomas became a runner and good friend of Minho.

One day, while the doors were closed, one Griever came in The Area and made ravages, one boy died and the maps of the maze that the runners made, had burned.

Teresa and Thomas became friends and made a plan to get away from the maze, with Minho and Newt formed a group to find answers. Thomas discovered that they were in the center of a maze without exit, and they were in a kind of experiment to prove their strenght; but one option was find the system and introduce a code.

Most of the habitants followed the plan and left The Area. The battle between them and the Grievers began, but finally, Teresa could introduce the code, and the beasts turned down and the rest of the habitants walked across a tunel, with the hope to find an exit and meet the creators.

They arrived to a white room and a lot of scientists were watching them, and one boy, who was the first leader of the habitants and committed suicide, was there and attack Thomas; suddenly, a group of people saved them and took to a bus, when a woman warned Thomas about the call, and got crushed by the bus. Everyone went up the bus and were taken to a safe refuge, or that is what they thought.
