After a year, we moved to our new house, but our big family divided into the different towns. Finally, my grandfather died at his new house. At that moment, I felt the house was very quiet so that I could listen everybody’s breaths. It seemed time stopped at that moment. I didn’t know what I could do, except cry.
These attacks affected my life because grandfather was our support. We lost our house and my grandfather at the same time. It made us collapse. I saw my grandmother didn’t eat anything, just looked my grandfather’s photo and cried from time to time. I tried to give up, but I told myself that I must be made myself strong and taken care of her when My sister had the same thought as me. I tried to learn all the housework and how to cook. When I was in middle school, I went to my grandmother’s new house to cook lunch and prepare the dinner during the lunch break. In the afternoon, I went back to school. After evening class, I went back to my house. My sister and I took turns doing that. It made us a little tired, but we knew that our grandmother was the saddest person because our grandfather was her all.
Consequently, I understand a truth: you will not know what will happen in the future; tomorrow your life may change. You must make yourself strong in any environment, any situation. Like me, I had to accept these changes and made myself stronger, because stronger is only one thing I can do. Nowadays, I appreciate these changes, they have made me more and more resilient in any troubles that I meet.
