Rivals are coming together to figure out how they can go around AWS. Facebook has created an Open Compute Project to an open system to attract other competitors to be able to create a server and data system that would be competitive or pressure AWS, by doing this the competitors are hoping customers of AWS will be attracted to having multiple options and not having to rely on one company.
Apple being the biggest customer for AWS is starting to build AWS by having different types of services like iTunes, iCloud storage, and the App Store, these different data centers estimates about 40 percent of AWS cloud shares. Apple growing so big analysts are estimating that Apple will leave AWS down the road. Amazon is showing no signs of slowing down in the AWS business, they are continuing to move forward and looking for other cloud services that they can offer to customers. In October applications like databases and data analytics were offered to push the AWS business. Amazon is continuing to strive in the cloud computing business and does not look to be slowing down any time soon.
Economic Significance
Amazon is helping startup business make a profit by being able to put a small amount of capital to the software and hardware pet of building a business. Amazon has used the Organizational Architecture when it embarked it the cloud business. The CEO make a decision to dive into this and the board members back the decision. The performance decision would be when Amazon went into this business adventure blind and has continue to show a profit and continues to grow, while still continuing to look into other ways that the business can perform and benefit the mangers, employees, and customers. The reward of the AWS for Amazon is that investors are seeing their return being reinvested and growing into a larger profit.

How this article can be applied to a personal life or in a business perspective is one should always be moving forward and looking for ways to advance in the society and to always be head of the competitors.
