The business problem of student hosting market is very obviously, that students need to find host families before they arrived and host families want to rent their extra rooms to get extra money. In this case, the supply and demand are very clear and the market needs a platform to deal with this very specific problem. For the part in the US, we need to broadcast our brand and let more people know and trust and post their rooms online. For students side, we also need to do branding issues and let buyers well-known our brand and they are enough users to search and rent rooms online our platform so that more and more landlords are willing to list their properties.

In order to found a brand new company, we need to learn from other companies, especially Airbnb. In this case, the history of founding Airbnb becomes very important for me so that my literature research is based on how Airbnb founded. “Shortly after moving to San Francisco in October 2007, Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia created the initial concept for AirBed & Breakfast during the Industrial Design Conference held by Industrial Designers Society of America. The original site offered short-term living quarters, breakfast, and a unique business networking opportunity for those who were unable to book a hotel in the saturated market. At the time, roommates Chesky and Gebbia could not afford the rent for their loft in San Francisco.[citation needed] They made their living room into a bed and breakfast, accommodating three guests on air and providing homemade breakfast. Their first three guests were of a sold-out design trade show. In February 2008, technical architect Nathan Blecharczyk joined as the third co-founder of AirBed & Breakfast.[10] During the company's initial stages, the founders focused on high-profile events where alternative lodging was scarce.[11] The site Airbedandbreakfast.com officially launched on August 11, 2008.” (Airbnb. (n.d.). Retrieved February 11, 2017, from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbnb)
