PROSECUTER: your honor, this doesn’t prove anything this doesn’t prove that Mr. Cheema is mentally ill..these are just claims to save a dangerous criminal who is acting like an insane person.

DEFENSE LAWYER: Your honor, if you will allow me to, I would like to call in my last witness. Mr. Mamoon, the younger brother of the criminal.

JUDGE: go ahead!

Mamoon walks in…

DANIAL: WHY SO SERIOUS??? LET’S PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE.

DEFENSE LAWYER: Mr. Mamoon, how long have you two stayed together?

Mamoon: we were together for 17 years. Then I went to NYU, while he stayed back.

DEFENSE LAWYER: so Mr. Danial never joined any university?

Mamoon: no, he never had any interest in studies. He only studied until grade 7.

DEFENSE LAWYER: Mr. Mamoon can you tell us about his childhood? How did he behave with the family?

Mamoon: we both were never that close to each other. He was always very moody and never talked to anyone not even to mom. After I left things got a little out of control. He started to misbehave with mom. One time he even beat her, that was the moment when I took mom away from this horrible human being and from that day onwards she lived with me.

DEFENSE LAWYER: What kind of a person beats his own mother..a sane person or a psychopath my honor??

PROSECUTER: Mr. Mamoon you said that your brother never had any interest in studies..is that right?

Mamoon: yes!

PROSECUTER: But his report card up to 7th grade shows things in a different way!

Your honor I would like to present to you the report card of Mr. Danial.

100% in Science 98% in mathematics 85% in history..does this report card hold true of a sane person..no my lord this holds true for a genius…his interest is basically in physics, mathematics and chemistry….all the basics required to plant a bomb successfully.

DEFENSE LAWYER goes to Danial and says something to him in his ear.

DEFENSE LAWYER: Your honor, There is a very fine thin line between genius and insanity. If you may allow your honor, My client will prove a maths equation that no sane person in the world will be able to solve. He will prove that 2 is equal to 3.

JUDGE: yes you may proceed!!

DEFENSE LAWYER: Your honor, is this possible? Can a sane person prove this theory…not even a genius can prove this theory my lord…not even a genius..My lord, this clearly proves that whatever works in the mind of my client is totally different from my mind, from your mind, from his mind, from anyone’s mind.

JUDGE: after going through this case thoroughly the court has reached to the conclusion that Mr. Danial is definitely insane. He will have to serve 5 years in a special rehabilitation centre and after 5 years after looking at his progress we will decide on his future.
