Executive Summary
This study was done to find out the overview of Concord Entertainment Co. Ltd. It was requested by our teacher Ishrat Sultana on 20th April 2013. The investigation was done by the following members: Faria Mirza, Arefin Rahman, Tanvir Hossain and Sumaiya Sharmin. The findings were that they have a very strong financial and media backup and very few weaknesses. The company uses the opportunities and reduces their threats. The jobs inside the company are designed especially for the employees’ comfort and skill level. If an employee requires more tasks for satisfaction alternative methods are also used. A chain of command in the company lets the company function at its maximum. Well thought decisions are given by the top level managers, but it reduces the decision making power of the subordinates. Fantasy Kingdom and Foy’s Lake are not interdependent. They function properly on their own, but the performance of these two branches affects the overall company. The general manager is the only person who makes bridge between these two branches. Even with all the help the organizational performance of the company is highly affected by many external and internal issues. It is concluded that the company is functioning at its top level and prospering day by day. A recommendation would be that the company could reduce its commodity price to let all levels of people enjoy its entertainment.
