Dimension2. It can also be divided into other three main target consumers including employees, university students and tourists.
● Young and university students
We are targeting young and university students are our primary market. For university students, Los Angeles County has one of the largest Chinese university students which will become our large potential consumers. The number of students from China studying at universities across the United States has increased dramatically. According to some statistics, the number of undergraduate students from China in the U.S. has doubled in the last two years. Los Angeles County has one of the largest Chinese student populations in the U.S. - totaling more than 4000 students. Chinese student choose to cook themselves because of high cost.
Besides that, young eat fast food most often. Around one third of children aged 4 to 19 eat fast food every day in the U.S. Young adults -- those aged 18 to 29 -- eat fast food most often, with 57% saying they do so at least weekly. Men aged 18 to 49 in particular eat fast food at least weekly, at 57%. Fast food is typically low in cost, which is part of its appeal to many Americans. But fast food is hardly the province solely of those with lower incomes; in fact, wealthier Americans -- those earning $75,000 a year or more -- are more likely to eat it at least weekly (51%) than are lower-income groups.
● Working Americans
Our secondary market segment is the "Working Americans." There is a large variety of workers currently working as staff with fast pace who want to have a quick meal.
● Tourists
Lastly, Los Angeles is also the destination for tourists which make a large scale of potential customer. Tourists will also go shopping, hunting for the latest trend in fashion and have no time to stop for a full meal during shopping. True Kung Fu is the alternative for a quick bite while shopping the fancy boutiques in the area.
