The business has planned its location at #35 Mountain View Boulevard, Belmopan City. The purpose of this location since it is a home based business. This is also because it is a very busy street and thus there is a lot of opportunity for business revenue, since more people means more customers and more money. As traditional, the main purchasing mode for business is walk-ins and to have with in the premises. In other words, customer can walk in or call by telephone and order for later pickup or enjoy the business premises. The planned means of deliveries would be by a personal motorcycle. Visualizing the future operations of the business when it reaches at a mature age, a further external expansion will be planned as to expand on other districts or places where there is a demand for our product.
Location
Hawaiian Shakes operational location is planned to be set in an attractive area and conveniently located in #35 Mountain View Boulevard, Belmopan City. Its location is not a congested commercial area which can be an advantage to the business since there would be new customers and demand. The office will be renovated and designed to become suitable for business. It also has a spacious space for customers to consume on the premises. The business location is owned by one of the business partners Eddy Perez; therefore we will be renting on a monthly basis. The terms of payment for the location would be at fixed rate of $500 monthly. Hawaiian Shakes is committed on improving in innovative equipment that would increase operational performance. With this said, the business shall take advantage of technology such as telephone systems, computers, printers, refrigerators, blenders, televisions, storage area, cellular phones and fax machines. This is to have constant communication with customers and customers can easily get in contact with the business through such means.
Industry Analysis
The population in the Belmopan City is unknown at this time, but the amount of business with the same product is ice-point located in the Stann-Creek Street, Belmopan City. Therefore the expectation for launching our product is great since the research has shown that there is available a competitive market for our product. The potential buyers for this small business ice-point is also the general public since its close to the University of Belize, therefore students are also potential buyers. We strongly believe that our product and location will definitely be suitable for business and have a high demand that will definitely be as of great advantage in achieving the overall business objectives. Being a competitor in the market will enable the business to create a new level of product taste that is strongly believed to attract new customers and gain customer trust by professional customer service and having a customer friendly environment.
