where each letter of HILTON carries one words. They are:
Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership and Now. While going through their vision and mission they are much focused on what they want to deliver to their customer and clients. Their mission statement is “To be the most hospitable company in the world – by creating heartfelt experiences for Guests, meaningful opportunities for Team Members, high value for Owners and a positive impact in our Communities.”
They believe in innovation, quality along with the remarkable success. They know who their customer and what kind of services customer wants from them. They are concerned with the philosophy on providing values, ethical priorities to the customers.
Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo is an American International Banking and Financial Service holding company. Its main headquarter is located in San Francisco, California, USA.
Their vision is “We want to satisfy our customers’ financial needs and help them succeed financially.” Analyzing the vision statement, we can conclude that their motto is making customer and their client financially successful by providing loan and credit for certain period of time.
Meanwhile, this company became perfect example for how company sometimes use fake vision statement. Whereas some of the values and mission mentioned by Elizabeth Warredn is detailed in 10.000 word documents. Being a masterpiece, some of the words used in vision and mission statement are vague and very difficult to point down.
Conclusion
In this case, while ranking from best to worse. The first I want to choose is BASF because of their clear vision and mission statement. Throughout the year, their company has tried a lot to maintain their vision and mission in every step of their duty. After that I think Hilton Hotel Corporation will be the second one. This company shortcoming is not looking forward. If this shortcoming is not solved in time then there is problem for this business firm.
Lastly, there it remains is Wells Fargo. I put it as worse because it’s vision and mission statement is vague and it contain around 5-6 effective elements shortcomings.
So, in answer to the question I have re-evaluated the vision statements before ranking them all over again. I have re-evaluated them on the basis of the number of effective elements and shortcomings that each of them has, in the above.
