These following questions are the prime ones to measure background of the audience:

- How much is the audience familiar with the topic? What are the specific points that the audience might be interested in ?

- What is the way that I can communicate with audience when they already know the topic or not? What kinds of information can be added?

- At what point of sophistication will I be "talking over the heads" of my readers because my information is too complex? At what point of sophistication will I be "insulting the intelligence" of my readers because my information is too simplistic?

- What are the potential question that the audience might have? (DeGreer, 2017.)

Demographic analysis. This consideration comprises the checking age, gender, culture, ethnicity, religion. Knowing these characteristics of audience enable communicator provide the best communication since avoiding them can cause to lost audience’s attention.

Questions following are main ones to determine audience’s demographical attributes.

- What is the age range of the audience?

- How many cultural and ethnic groups might be in the audience? And, what are they?

- What is the minimum and maximum educational level in the audience?

- What is the portion of male and female attendant in the audience?

- are there any political and religion afflictions in the audience? (DeGreer, 2017.)

Interest analysis. As it stated above, different audience has different interest from a product. For example, while the accounting department may need to know how much the product cost, the sales department may need to know what is the specifications of this product so they can use when selling. In sum-up, what information is necessary to different audience.

The questions can be used to determine audience interest:

- what is the expectation of the audience from the communication?

- What the communicator expects from the audience?

- What are the specific concerns and questions in the audience’s mind?

- What interests and goals do my audience have?

- What will motivate my audience? What types of needs do they have?

- What biases or preconceived ideas might my readers have about me and my topic? (DeGreer, 2017.)

Conclusion

In conclusion, in-depth needs analysis sets the paves of a clear and concise communication. If a communicator understand audience and adequately determine the information what the audience needs to know from a communication, a communicator can avoid unnecessary information so that he can keep the audience level in the highest level. Thus, he can provide the most effective communication.
