2. Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS).

The model lets the subscriber position onto the cloud infrastructure applications that the subscriber made or attained using programming languages and tools that the provider supports. The consumer does not have an influence on the underlying cloud infrastructure, including, servers, storage, operating systems, network. However, the user controls the deployment of applications and hosting environment configurations [7]

- Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

The service enables the subscriber to use processing, storage, and networks fundamental computing resources. Moreover, the service allows the deployment and running other software that includes operating systems and applications.

The consumer does not regulate the basic cloud infrastructure but has the capability of controlling the operating systems, storage, deployed applications. Moreover, the user can adjust possibly limited control of select networking components, such as host firewalls [8]. Below is a figure showing the

The cloud-computing model

BENEFITS OF NEW CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICES

The following are some of the gains for those who deal with the current cloud computing services and applications

a) The Cost Savings

Corporations can lessen their capital expenses and make use of the operational expenditures to increase their computing capabilities. It is a lower barrier to entry and requires fewer in-house IT resources to provide system support [9].

b) Scalability/Flexibility

Companies can begin with a small deployment and grow to a significant placement quite speedily, and then scale back if necessary. Likewise, the flexibility of cloud computing enables companies to use extra resources at peak times thus enabling them to satisfy consumer demands.

c) Reliability

Services that use numerous redundant sites can support business continuity and disaster recovery.

d) System Maintenance

The cloud service providers sort out the system maintenance. The access to the system is through APIs that do not need application installations onto PCs, thus further reducing maintenance requirements.

e) Mobile Accessibility

Mobile workers have increased productivity because of the system’s accessibility in an infrastructure that is available from anywhere.

f) The Economies of Scale

The amalgamating of resources on a large scale translates to security benefits in two areas [10].

g)The Expertise.

Chief cloud service providers, for example, Google, Amazon, and Rackspace have enormous resources and skill in the field of security at their disposal.

h) Centralizing

Data Model Securing and managing of data is easier when using a centralized data model [11].

i) The Reduced physical data leakage

There are many ways of leaking internal data. Some of the ways are through physical means, loss of company thumb drives, laptops, and backup disks all contribute to this. With cloud computing, we can avoid this problem because data is now stored in the cloud away from the physical devices ([12]

j) Monitoring Advantages

With centralized storage, it is easier to control and monitor. Additionally, it is both easier and cheaper to implement security checks on centralized data than for individual clients because that is the only position where targeted attacks may happen. Again, there will be a quick reallocation of the resources for filtering, traffic controlling, verification, encryption, and other security measures. Hence, this will improve resilience against security threats [13].

k) Incident Investigation

Cloud storage helps speed up the process of incident investigation in two ways.

l)The Forensic Readiness:

With Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers, one can build and place a dedicated forensic server image in the same cloud offline. Whenever an incident of security happens, in using cloud computing, one can avoid all the clunky hardware provisioning that is required. Also, one will be able to have your server as and when you need it ([14].

m) The Decreased evidence acquisition time

The transfer of data between 2 servers in a similar cloud is very fast. Therefore, there will be a reduction of the proof of transfer time between the compromised server and forensics server.

n) The Logging

The cloud storage abstracts away chunky provisioning for logging.

THE ANTICIPATED USE OF CLOUD COMPUTING IN FUTURE

a)Cloud Optimization

For an organization to enjoy the benefits of cloud computing, they should put into considerations the challenges such as security, accessibility, lack of control and concerns of licensing among others [15]. The strategic and formal way of decision-making will help in optimizing the investment in cloud infrastructure and services. Hence, it will enhance the business growth.

b) A hybrid cloud computing

The above model enables enterprises to maintain control over a share of legacy IT infrastructure on the premises while at the same time integrating Cloud solutions from external cloud service providers. Hybrid clouds will prevail to allow organizations to transition to a unified cloud that is bot scalable and flexible in future [16]. It can also be useful for the needs of any business.

c) Cloud Computing Brokerages

Due to rapid growth in cloud computing adoption, organizations will need assistance with cloud computing consumption of resources.
