Figure 3 Theoretical Framework

Objectives of the Study

- To develop a system that information flow will be process in fast, accurate and less effort due to automated recording of order of the customer in a database.

- To develop a system that will avoid data duplication due to automated sorting of information of all transaction happening in the hardware.

- To develop a system that the monitoring of stocks will be easy, due to automated monitoring and retrieving of Records using a database.

Scope and Limitation

Scope

- An Order Billing Inventory System defines which needs it addresses, including valuing the inventory, measuring the change in the inventory and planning for future inventory levels.

- The value of inventory at the end of each period provides a basis for financial reporting of the balance sheet.

- Measuring the change in the inventory allows the company to determine the cost of inventory sold during the period

Limitation

- The hardware knows the inventory levels only when it physically counts the inventory at the end of each period.

- The hardware takes order from the customer orders without knowing the exact inventory count or whether there are enough products that available to meet the customer demand.

Significance of the Study

Hardware Order Billing Inventory System will benefit the following:

Manager and Employees. The proposed system will lessen the time, enhance the level of work, help its processes more reliable and efficient, and provide accuracy and security of data and information.

Employees. This proposed system will provide easy-to-use system so their job will be easier and faster.

Researchers. The project serves as a basis of their study. It engages their knowledge in programming activities to create a computerized system. It will also serve as a tool to sharpen their knowledge and ability in developing a computerized system.

- Review of Related Studies and Literature

This chapter presents a brief discussion of the literature reviewed by the researchers which further enriched the conceptualization of the study and helped in describing the cognitive design that guided the conduct of the researcher.

Related Studies

Automation can drastically affect all phases of inventory management, including counting and monitoring of inventory items; recording and retrieval of item storage locations; recording changes to inventory; and anticipating inventory needs, including inventory handling requirements. Effective Inventory Analysis. Get Data Related to Effective Inventory Analysis. For many distributors, inventory is the largest and perhaps the most important asset. Inventory ties up more money than buildings or equipment, and is often less “liquid.” It is crucial, then, that distributors develop and use a comprehensive set of tools that allows close monitoring of the performance
