However,” in a recent study, a whopping 72 percent of online college students surveyed admitted to cheating when taking online quizzes.” (Jamie Littlefield, About.com) . So, why cheat when you are spending thousands of dollars on your education? Some people and especially if you're from this country, we have to pay big dollars for our education unlike a lot of other systems around the world. So, maybe students might feel the need to cheat because if they don't receive the grade they need or want to move forwards then they will be failures and not get the job they wanted and so on. In order to help eliminated this cycle we need to start at the core and figure out what is causing students to do it in the first place and then how to address the problem. And we can agree that webcams are not the answer to solving this problem.

Ethics not just online but in everyday life can have some gray area. How do you make moral right and wrong choices? When these choices arise hopefully ethical decisions are made not only from what was taught through schooling, but is at the core of each and every individual. If we are taught proper ethics from a young age they remain ingrained in us throughout our life time. Every situation will be different but knowledge, technology and human conscious with hopefully lead to better choices to be made not only from students but from society as a whole.
