There are many who accept the LGBT lifestyle but there are those who oppose the LGBT lifestyle and just look over the LGBT bullying and just say “Don’t worry there just being kids” it’s not just teens who are bullied young adults and adults who are LGBT are getting treated unfairly. There are groups who are Anti-LGBT (or Anti-Gay) hear are 5 of these groups. 1.) Abiding Truth Ministries (ATM) which is based in Springfield, Massachusetts. 2.) Chalcedon Foundation which is based in Vallecito, California. 3.) Christian Anti-Defamation Commission (CADC) which is based in Vista, California. 4.) Faithful Word Baptist Church, based in Tempe, Arizona. 5.) National Organization for Marriage, based in Princeton, New Jersey. Some of these groups are a church related or Christianity who oppose the LGBT lifestyle. But not all Christians disapprove of LGBT because there are Christians who are part of the LGBT Community. Ever since 1970 the fight for gay rights has been going on only 37 out of 50 states have allowed same-sex marriage.
But when churches would not allow two men or two woman in marriage the state law about same-sex marriage has let many LGBT couples get married but at the same time it didn’t allow them to be married because the state has not legalese same-sex marriage. The LGBT has received both good and bad attention in the past, such as people bullying, rejecting, disrespecting, and abusing them. The LGBT organization Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) has been there to protect those LGBT Youth from becoming homeless and without attention, ever since 1970 the view points on Gay Marriage has changed for a lot of people. Many LGBT organization has formed to protect the members of LGBT. Many celebrities such as Robin Roberts, Ellen Page, Ty Herndon, Sam Smith, Derrick Gordon, Michael Sam, and Matt Llano are part of the LGBT community. Groups who fight for LGBT equality
Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN), National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE), National Gay & Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), and Out & Equal. Our own president Barrack Obama supports LGBT and is fighting for rights.
So the LGBT Youth deal with Bullying, Rejection, and Disrespect. But just for LGBT teens: there are many people who support the LGBT and is fighting for your right to be treated equal in the states and worldwide. LGBT Youth deal with the hardest issue there is, Bullying. They get bullied at school, their parents at home might be beating them for being themselves. If LGBT bullying and being treated without equality stops there will be lives saved and if the Gay Rights law passes many people will stop being treated with disrespect and unfairness.
