day every day but then the sun would come out for five minutes and it was like it was all forgotten. It was too beautiful to let the rain get you down. Hiking up the side of the Cliffs of Mother with wind and mist hitting you in the eyes even seemed like a blessing because the view was just that incredible and nobody wanted to miss even a second of its beauty. Getting to see the cliffs and taking a cruise around and through them was easily my favorite memory, everyone got sea sick on the boat from the insanely choppy waves on the Atlantic Ocean, the Irish referred to everyone throwing up into plastic baggies as “a bunch of lightweights”, all of the Irish people I met had the greatest senses of humor. Probably why I liked it there so much. To make it even better we got to share it with our best friends. We still joke about who held whose hair.

To me this trip was truly the trip of a lifetime it changed me for the better and matured me as a person in almost every way. We came back from this trip closer than ever, gifts for our friends and families and endless stories about all of our adventures. At the end of the trip it was a huge blessing and gift to be able to sing and dance around the streets in a place where you fell in love with after 36 hours. My friends came back from Barceló with half the stuff they went there with not a lot of memories of the nights and some bad sunburn. I made the right choice for my senior year spring break and I’m counting down the days till I can go back and rally in the streets with my choir friends when we’re not with our school deans and choir teachers.
