Having this responsibility allows myself to use the independence as a vehicle to build the confidence I need when my employment with Disney comes to an end in January 2018, taking the experiences that has happened to me in the future workforce to become not only a manager but also a leader in which future employees will look up to. Humbling myself and remembering the times when I was in training to be a lifeguard will always be in the back of my mind when training new lifeguards. Having this ability to critically think of those times and putting it into practise as all new employees come from all different walks of life despite experience in the workforce and age. All new trainees will be treated differently but also fairly in respect to their experience in the respective line of business. Fostering the confidence and skills of trainees who have had no experience in the workforce and building the skills of those who have countless experience in the workforce. Every time I am scheduled a training day, I learn new things about an individual’s learning style and the ability of this person to retain information. Furthermore, the additional information and experiences I have physically seen from the different trainees, I am applying to every other trainee with a similar learning style.
