my way to the kitchen and searched through the drawers; I came across a candle and a few matches. I struck the match and lit the candle on fire. I returned to the room and laid the candle on the floor. I noticed that laying on the floor was a bright orange, lumpy pumpkin which had a long, green stem. I picked up the pumpkin and heard a groan. Tentatively I pulled the bright green vine from the stem and heard a scream. I watched in disbelief as the pumpkin grew two legs, two arms, a mouth and two eyes.
