- Bombay Stock Exchange- Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is an Indian stock exchange located in Mumbai. It was established in 1875 founded by Premchand Roychand and is now headed by Mr. Ashish Kumar Chauhan. It claims to be the world's fastest stock exchange. More than 5500 companies are publicly listed on the BSE. The benchmark of BSE is Sensex which includes 30 companies. Today BSE provides an efficient and transparent market for trading in equity, currencies, debt instruments, derivatives, mutual funds. It also has a platform for trading in equities of small-and-medium enterprises (SME).

- MCX and NCDEX- It is an independent commodity exchange based in India. It was established in 2003 and is based in Mumbai. Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd is an electronic commodity futures trading exchange. National Commodity & Derivates Exchange Limited or NCDEX is an online multi commodity trading exchange. In a world where investors are increasingly turning to the internet for their trading and transactions, trading exchanges like MCX and NCDEX are gaining popularity by leaps and bounds.

MCX deals in the trading of 40 commodities which include bullions, precious metals and NCDEX offers 34 commodities which are agri-based. Whereas MCX specialises in bullions and precious metals like gold and silver, NCDEX is highly trusted for the trading of agri-based products like oil and oil seeds, cereals, etc.

- NSDL and CDSL- National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) is an Indian central securities depository based in Mumbai. It was established on 8 November 1996 as the first electronic securities depository in India. The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) was the first depository in India. It was registered by SEBI on 7th June 1996, as the very first Depository to facilitate trading and settlement of securities in Demat form. It is promoted by institutions of national stature, which are responsible for the economic development of India and have established an infrastructure of international standards. They handle most of the securities, which are held and settled in a dematerialized form in the Indian capital market. Its main promoters are IDBI, UTI and NSE.

Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) is the second Indian central securities depository. It is based in Mumbai. Its main function is the holding securities either in certificated or un-certificated i.e. dematerialized form; it helps to enable the book entry transfer of securities. It began operating in February in the year 1999. Its main promoters are HDFC, SBI, BOI and BOB.

- Both the depositories provide the services of DEMAT. DEMAT account is opened by the investor while registering with the investment broker. It is used as a bank where shares bought are deposited and shares sold are taken from and after 3 months the shares are transferred from trading account to DEMAT account.

NOTICE: It depends on the company to do trading in either NSDL or CDSL if not told by the customer and the company chooses on the basis of profits.

- Brokerage Charges- Trustline Securities Ltd charges 0.01% of the transaction value or Rs 20/- whichever is lower.

Documents required for opening of DEMAT account

- PAN card ( mandatory)

- Address proof (Aadhar Card / Passport / Ration card / Phone bill for the last three months)

- Last six months bank statement (if IFSC code and MICR number is not mentioned in the bank statement then a cancelled cheque)

- Passport size photograph.

Trading Platforms

- T5- It is a web based platform through which clients can trade and it also works on all convenient devices. If the customer does not want to download the NEST software then he/she can trade through T5.

- Trust mobile- It is a mobile based trading system which provides ease to the customers where they can trade easily and keep track on the rates. This trading system is only available for blackberry and android.

- Trust power- This application is a great platform for dynamic traders with online fund transfer facility. It provides better speed and features like graphs.

- NEST Software- It is an application based terminal for active traders with online fund transfer facility. It provides better speed, greater analytical features like graphs and customized formula in the market watch.

I was also shown and explained as to how to fill in the form on behalf of the applicants (i.e. the customers who would share in the required documents). Trustline Securities Ltd has also provided the “Get a call back or watsapp service” for its customers. The client has to enter his/her mobile number and click on any of the above two services, the client will get a reply from the department within 30 minutes.

- AMO- It stands for After Market Order where the client can make the order when the market is closed. His order will be shown when the market opens.

HELP DESK DEPARTMENT

In this department, I was under the guidance of Mr Dhruv. He explained me the working of the department. In this department, all the queries of the clients are fulfilled. Clients send mails to the helpdesk regarding Pay-in, Pay-out, Contract note, P/L statement, issues regarding login to T5 software or Trustline Mobile App or NEST software. I was also explained as to how these problems can be solved with help of various software like CapRise, ComRise, FoRise etc.

The learning’s of this department are as follows:

- Mail contains the client requirements.

- The client code is given by the company when the client opens his account with us.

- The mails sent by the clients are tickets, where open tickets are the mails received from the client and closed tickets are the mails that have been replied.

- CapRise software- This software can be used to solve the queries of the client dealing in cash and this software can be used
