Independent Care Will Help in Continued Client Growth

Independent care will help a client be able to do things on his or her own without having to have guidance all the time. A case manager who can match the client up with skills to teach them things that they need help with to make them stronger. Teaching a client how to do daily living activities such as managing a monthly income, using the public transportation system, using communication devices that best suit them. It may also include helping them to come up with a routine to do household chores, help with parenting skills, or develop job skills. A person who can learn to research and negotiate the system of social services would be more willing to be independent. If a case manager can match a client up with services that will help them to develop skills so that can manage their independence then the client is able to live independent or in an assisted living home. Independent care is important for a client to have to be able to grow and take pride in their life.

Conclusion

In conclusion, case management termination can be very stressful on both parties but can be done for several reasons because a client is not engaging in services or because a case manager is not meeting, the client’s needs (ADPH. n.d.). Case managers may decide that a client maybe better with someone else because they are leaving the practice. Case managers and clients can develop a strong attachment to each other and it is important that terminations be handled in a friendly manner. Independent care is important for a case manager to have for a client because if they have independence they can learn necessary skills to help them to grow.
