The importance of energy has been demonstrated throughout Gaza these past five months. Without energy, it can transform an economy and lead to instabilities within the economy and the region. The situation in Gaza is an example of this. Although terror was already taking place in Gaza, ever since the energy depletion, there have been rising tensions within the Palestine territory. Protests have been very violent and are recurring. A solution to all this terror and tension within Gaza is to simply have electricity. Electricity is an important use in our day to day lives. It helps produce basic human needs, as well as power appliances that are used every day. On a larger scale, it allows factories to operate which will help stimulate the economy and allow the community to prosper. Hospitals can be used full effect and help those who are in serious need. So by having an agreement met between these two rivals, this Palestine territory can go back to its usual form and society can operate as it did before prior to the electricity crisis.
