In my opinion, there are also some disadvantages or negative effect to our health system. Some people are still confuse about this new health care reform like me because there are a lot of informations you have to know and because eventually everyone will one day need it. It will take time for every Americans to digest all these laws and also a lot of money spent to pay for improving our health care system. The more benefits the insurance offers, the higher it will cost for everyone. Young people tend to be healthy and not to need coverage as often as older Americans. On the other hand, creating a new standard for health insurance, raising the quality of coverage for all Americans and also raising taxes from the tax payers. If we have more people on Medicaid, states will have a financial burden and most likely hurt the quality of the program as they scramble to cut the costs and benefits to let the air out of bloated budgets. Insurance companies must cover sick people and this means increases the cost of everyone’s insurance. The money to pay for the expansion will have to come from somewhere else. Because of the advance technology we have, the cost of the health care also increases. From the new equipments, new instruments, and new drugs are being introduced in our health care system, our expenditures also increases, hopefully this new health care reform will be for the good of every one.

Lastly, there are a lot of informations we have to know regarding this Affordable Care Act and everyone should be informed and educated regarding this new law. Although, not all states are participating or agreeing to this new health care system, because I think in my opinion, there are more disadvantages or negative effect when it comes to our health care and the benefits we get from our medical insurance and from the government.
