At Children’s Miracle Facility we encourage, empower, and give people a choice and a voice in order to decrease the feelings of powerlessness, and increase access and quality of services to clientele and their families.

The measures your dream human service agency will take to ensure diverse cross-cultural needs are met

At Children’s Miracle Facility our staff professionals are very mindful and respectful to the diverse cross-cultural needs of people and are given many opportunities for education and trainings to keep on top of the diversity. We also have translators for various languages and a supported staff.

Consider the following areas of diversity: socioeconomic background, culture, age, gender, sexual identity, spirituality, disability, and other unique differences.

Here at Children’s Miracle Facility we serve children and families regardless of socioeconomic background, culture, age, gender, sexual identity, spirituality, disability, and other unique difference. We understand that there is no two people alike and we respect everyone and their differences. Our policy on socioeconomic, is we have a wide acceptance of many different insurances and if you do not have any insurance, we can help with that also.

The ideological beliefs systems of a manager who espouses empowerment for the overall agency, staff members, and clientele

There is no ideal belief system, for managers who empower for the overall agency, staff members, and clientele, but rather a balance between them all. Taking the positive and what works in all of the belief systems and then leaving behind the less desirable. It is also important to remember that working in human services it takes patients, empathy, understanding, and always keeping in mind that clients are human and staff are as well. Many techniques may not be found in a text.

How concepts of team building and collaboration are met within the organization

At Children’s Miracle Facility, working together as a team is very crucial in every form of the agency. Being able to know that every team member has both weakness and strengths, also knowing when and how to notice those strengths and being able to work with the weaknesses. Each person in our agency has a significant role and is expected to be able to work as a team, that includes working with other staff members and also being able to work with the patients and their families, everyone is just important as the other.

The strategies for consistent evaluation of organizational efficacy that includes strategic feedback from clients, community groups, and staff members within the agency.

The strategies that are used in Children’s Miracle Facility is that we ask our clients for feedback by using surveys, non-invasive questions and demonstrating, asking routine, that is an agency that cares about our clients and how they feel. They are also welcome to come to come to any staff member with any questions or concerns. With community groups, we know that there is no “one best way” but rather knowing the importance of the outside world and how important the community really is. The strategies that are utilized with staff members in our agency is having an open communication policy within the agency. Also everyone in the agency has a right to their own feelings. They also have a voice and are encouraged to use it to its fullest.

In conclusion, the Children’s Miracle Facility, applies the 12 principles presented and addresses how clients will be included in the organizational decision-making processes, how a dream agency will decrease a sense of powerlessness among clients and increase access and quality of services for clientele, the measures that will be taken to ensure diverse cross-cultural needs are met, considered areas of diversity: socioeconomic background, culture, gender, sexual identity, spirituality, disability, and other unique differences, the ideological belief system of a manager who espouses empowerment for the overall agency, staff members, and clientele, how the concepts of team building and collaboration are met within the organization, and the strategies for consistent evaluation of organizational efficacy that includes strategies feedback from clients, community groups, and staff members in the agency.
