Although most of our make up is dietary discipline or lack of discipline, one way to improve a healthy lifestyle is developing an active fit routine. This includes refining eyesight, normalizing blood pressure, gaining lean muscle, lowering cholesterol and improving bone density. If you want to live healthy and livelonger, you must workout! Studies show that even 10 minutes of exercise makes a difference. Any movement that gets you moving and sweating can make a difference. It is important to have a good attitude when exercising; one method that can assist your excursive experience is using music to motivate your workout. Another way to improve a healthy lifestyle is making your dietary plan well rounded. Often times individuals like to stick within their norm and eat foods that are comfortable and safe to them. Some of the healthiest foods are the ones we are unfamiliar with. Often times as children we are not introduced to healthy foods for fear we wont eat. Also healthy foods are not highly marketed such as the many junk foods with the fancy labels and toys included. The third and final way I will present to improve a healthy lifestyle is to meal prep. Meal prepping can assist with you with staying on track with your daily food/calorie/macro consumption. There is a great quote that states: “fail to plan, plan to fail”. This couldn’t be any truer. When meal prepping your daily meals and snacks are planned out, therefore, there is no room for error or lack of nutrition. I know that if I make my meals ahead of time I feel obligated to eat them and not waste food, which keeps me from excessive eating and consuming unhealthy foods.
