Globalization on how to communicate with social media. It is the job of social media in a disaster. Just like the water being polluted. This kind of attention in the social media can make them in charge of this disaster. Sometimes you should disagree telling some news that the social media has shared. This is to protect the public from being scared and everyone going in a panic attack. We will do what we have to so we can keep a public outrage from happening and put us in a bad spot where the public doesn’t trust us.

There will be other way to handle the next crisis situation just like the water supply contamination. There will be new machines to check our water supply on a regular basis. We will be doing more training courses for the employees that will be working in the water waste management. These will be updated and inspected on a regular basis. We will have a website that will show all the training and locations we have to keep under control. We will be monitoring the areas where our main water supply is coming from. We will also need help from the public that would take advantage of our technology resources to report anything they feel will help this from happening again.

The social network opportunities in this disaster can help us, but can also affect us. There are moments our people were not able to have answers on some things they asked. The media also showed the side of us to let the community know we cared about the safety of our people. We did not allow the media to think we were putting this situation on hold. This crisis affected not only the public but also the emergency management office. We did expect a panic attack on our community. With the media we were able to put out the correct information without the public losing trust in the government. It was very important that we used the media to our advantage.

After the disaster was over we all came together as a community. We at the office had a plan that we thought was best to make the disaster go as fast as possible. We had a group from the outside that helped teach us how to handle the reporters in an effective way to help the communication a disaster. Just like the water being polluted. We let the public know what to look for to know if a family member could be in danger. We used media and technology to our advantage in a situation like this it is very important to give the correct information to make sure the communities do not go in a panic nor do they lose trust in the government.
