The talent development team drives the firm’s talent and diversity strategies. The talent development team oversees talent assessment and development initiatives that address the unique needs of their people at all levels. There is ongoing talent assessments and regular performance feedback, which contribute to the development of their employees. This also ensures to maintaining their high level of culture and innovation. Lastly, Goldman Sachs’ managers and senior leaders are expected to create an environment that ensures the highest level of performance and potential of all their people.

Additionally, Goldman Sachs has another team whose sole focus is rewards. These teams manage the compensation and equity, benefits and wellness, and employee special investment and global mobility. As part of their commitment to the health and well-being of their employees at the firm, they provide a set of benefits and wellness programs to meet every employee needs. These benefits include, childcare offerings, on-site medical centers and patient advocacy, bag-less gyms where clothes are provided, and a range of personal financial planning resources. Goldman Sachs realizes if you want your employees to succeed you not only need to motivate them, but you need to reward them. By providing these benefit programs, they allow for employees to feel as if they are getting back as much as they are putting into their firm. Again to ensure that Goldman Sachs’ employees are working to the best of their abilities, their HCM infrastructure team leverage technology and data to drive the firm’s people strategy, support talent management processes, mitigate workforce risk and improve operational performance.

After looking at Goldman Sachs, one realizes that they understand in order to be the best you have to have the best. To ensure that their company succeeds, they put a lot of effort into their employees and make sure that they are doing the best that they can. They have several teams that keep their employees on the right track. If an employee isn’t doing their best, they have several programs that develop and retrain the employee to enable them to do so. Goldman Sachs expects a high level of dedication to the firm from the employees. In turn, they are equally dedicated to their employees; providing a rewarding experience through learning opportunities, a strong framework for career development, a health and wellness support system and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
