Interior layout decision of the Lazada warehouse

As mentioned earlier, Lazada Malaysia is a large online shopping mall. It was launched by Germany’s Rocket Internet in March 2012. Its Headquarters is based in Singapore, Singapore. Lazada Malaysia offers a wide scope of items crosswise over classifications including buyer hardware and home apparatuses, wellbeing and excellence, mobiles and tablets, and fashion. There is also a wide range of home and living commodities. So, the product stocking of the Lazada warehouse is very important for them. According to our research, Lazada had total 318 merchants in five Southeast Asian countries and with a total 173982 products. So, the design of the interior layout in Lazada warehouse is very important. Furthermore, Lazada Malaysia had chosen to keep their inventories with the shelving (According to Youtube video). Lazada Thailand warehouse can keep up to 1,000,000 products. It is including products from sellers handled by Fulfillment By Lazada (FBL). The Lazada warehouse system also automatically defines the most optimized picking route to make their staff picking inventories became easier and faster. The Lazada Thailand warehouse contains the conveyor to make their process more smoothly. They will check out their conveyor carrying up to 90,000 products per day to the packing stations. In addition, the products are carefully packed and wrapped in the protective material such as plastic wrap, good quality carton, and the styrofoam to ensure a great delivery experience. Lazada also used the pallets and pallet movers to minimize aisle space and increase the effective capacity. The dock equipment like forklifts was also used in Lazada and it can move the precious and heavy products like TV, refrigerator, automatic washing machine and air conditioner in a shorter time because the forklift can move a large load at the same time and with the same effort required to move a smaller load.
